We have just returned from our Mediterranean Cruise on the Noordam. Our stop in Katakolon was a half day so we booked with George. He was was waiting promptly for us as we exited our ship. His car was clean and comfortable. His English is excellent and we enjoyed conversation with him on the way to Olympia. George was very flexible and told us we could take as long as we wanted at the ruins and museum. Both sights were very well done. Afterwards we went to the town of Olympia for shopping and Baklava. George then took us to an amphitheater to enjoy the view and eat our dessert. He told us about the land, the people, and his family. Finally he showed us his home, where we met his wife and daughter. As a parting gift he and his wife gave us beautiful roses from their garden. The flowers made our cabin smell fantastic. Thank you George for a most enjoyable day in Katakolon. |

In late September of 2007 myself, my wife and two friends enjoyed a wonderful day with George. He met us at the ship as we had prearranged. We, of course, had a wonderful visit to the ancient Olympic site. What really made the day special, however, was his personal attention. We visited his home town & village. George even took us to his home where his wife made us Greek coffee. We enjoyed, very much touring his olive & orange orchard. Certainly we will get in touch with George the next time we are in Greece. |

George arranged to meet us early, which was the very best advice, as we had an excellent drive to Olympia and a wonderful visit to the site almost having the place to ourselves. As we were leaving, coaches and taxis were arriving en masse, whilst we sat in a Taverna in the village having a peaceful coffee. We learnt from him throughout the day more about the catastrophic fires in August. He then took us to an amphitheatre and villages with views and finally (at the children's request) a beach for paddling and a game of cricket. We felt very safe, relaxed and comfortable with him, the children thought he was 'especially nice'. Thanks, George, you made Katakolon one of our favourite places. |

Thanks for the fabulous tour you gave the 4 of us on October 4, 2007 from Katakolon to Ancient Olympia. You were very professional and had a lot of information to give. Your little side trip to meet your wife and see your house gave it a very personal touch. When we got back to the cruise ship and shared our experience with others, they wished they had been so lucky. Keep up the great work. |

Hi George, Thanks for the great day in Katakolon. Robbie is still talking about the fun that he had playing with your daughter Maria on the beach. |

We met George in the harbour of Katakolon on our recent cruise on the Costa Mediterranea. He took us to Olympia. He is a very friendly and knowledgeable gentleman who provided us with much information and a very enjoyable trip. I highly recommend George for a visit to Olympia. I have also heard that George and his family are safe after the devastating fires in Greece. Many thanks for a great time in your country. |

George gave us the best tour of our Western Med cruise this past June. He was first in line when the ship arrived and got us past the crowds at Olympia. The sites and scenes were incredible. We enjoyed a real, local Greek meal and the highlight was a trip to his house where we met his family. Do not hesitate to work w/George. You will have great memories. |
