Behind Olympia, at the village Floka, on the top of the hills was built 30 years ago an amphitheater which is a copy of the ancient aphitheaters in Greece.

We have concerts, festivals and classical theater there, on July and August, 2-3 events every week and of course after 9pm to avoid the heat of the day. The view to the valley down and Alpheios river is incredible. You can see the port and your ship from there even it's about 30km away.

This is part of a quick tour around the area, following countryside roads, through the village I live and the city Pirgos. You can see there even today, signs from the catastrophic earthquake which happened in 1993 when more than 50 per cent of the old buildings destroyed.
