The best sandy beach on the area at the base of a hill where is the village Skafidia. At the same place 9 years ago was the hotel Club Med but since 2000 was built the Aldemar or Olympian Village hotel. A destination for holidays and vacations for many tourists mostly from Europe and Greece.

It's located 17 km North from the port. Needs 20 minutes driving from the port and about 30 minutes driving from Olympia. The entrance for swimming is free but you have to pay to use the chairs and the umbrellas.

Because is the hotel there they clean the sand every day. There are restaurants by the hotel but I'm sure that they'll remind you the ship.
