I'll try on this page to describe your taxi tour and give you all the details for the historical places you can visit in the area. You can click to each of them to see a quick desciption, photographs, distances, times driving and times you need approximately to visit them, maps to locate them and the official websites by the ministry of culture in Greece to read the history for them. Ilia isn't only the birthplace of the Olympic flame and in spite of the catastrophic fires we had here believe me it's a lot of beauty around.

I'll try also with  this page to give you all the information about other destinations like wineries, cristian orthodox monasteries, local restaurants, and some of the wonderful beaches around. Depends on the time you've available we can accommodate your taxi tour to visit only what you want to visit and make any last minute changes you want if the time is enough for a secure return to the port. You need a minimum +/-4 hours tour to explore Olympia with a quick tour around and if you have time available I can organise a till 7 to 8 hours tour.

For example a 6 hours tour is enough time for the archaelogical site, the museum, shopping in the village Olympia, a tour around the area with the amphitheater, lunch in a local restaurant and the Mercouri Estate winery.
